Star Wars NES Reviews

Developed by Beam Software and released in 1991, Star Wars for the Nintendo Entertainment System kicked off a series of Star Wars movie games primarily for Nintendo platforms, though two appeared on the Sega Game Gear and Star Wars actually released on the Sega Master System in Europe. At the time Lucasfilm Games' focus was on games for home computers so it partnered with JVC to publish console games. While I'm only posting a couple NES reviews here, JVC did put "Super" in front of all of the Star Wars movie games when it later released them on the Super NES and handheld platforms.

The first review is from GamePro and it was reviewed by Slo Mo. On the GamePro scale the orange scores are a 4 out of 5 while challenge scored a 5 out of 5. There is also a preview for The Empire Strikes Back attached to the review.

Video Games & Computer Entertainment's review is by two writers, Rusel DeMaria and Zach Meston, and they liked the game quite a bit as well. There is a bonus Bonk's Revenge review here too since I opted not to edit the second page down.
