Gaming Ads: ReadySoft
Based in Toronto, ReadySoft was founded by David Foster in 1987. It acquired the rights to Don Bluth Studios' games in 1988 and thus published Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and their sequels on a variety of home platforms. Of the 19 ads I currently have, nine are for either Dragon's Lair or Space Ace, and nine are for its original title Brain Dead 13. Similar to Dragon's Lair, Brain Dead 13 is also an interactive animated movie. ReadySoft was purchased by Malofilm Communications in 1996 and in 1997 Foster founded Digital Leisure, the company that continues to re-publish the Don Bluth properties.
