Gaming Ads: Fox Interactive
Formed in 1994, Fox Interactive was a division of the Fox Entertainment Group. It published many games based on 20th Century Fox properties, such as The Simpsons, The X-Files, Die Hard, and Aliens. Previously to creating its own video game division, Fox had licensed many of its properties to Acclaim Entertainment with mixed results. Fox Interactive published a few original games as well, including sports titles, the Croc series, and The Operative: No One Lives Forever. In 2003 Fox Interactive was acquired by Vivendi Universal and in 2006 it was shut down.
